Chrome Experiments – Not Your Mother’s JavaScript March 19, 2009

Chrome’s release in September last year included a powerful JavaScript engine (valled V8 – how cool is that?), and the Google Blog yesterday had an interesting new post: 

Over the past few months. they’ve been working with various developers on experimenting with the newer features, and the results are Chrome Experiments 🙂

The video below shows a quick summary of some of the funky things they’ve managed, but I think the best is to go and take a proper look at the site.

You don’t need Chrome to view it, but of course….”some of the experiments may run slower, or incorrectly, in older browsers”…. 🙂

Bonus points to anyone who noticed the Youtube video for a Google blog post…
