Yesterday I posted a brief article on a series of photographs that Neil Byrne took while on a tour of Chernobyl, in Ukraine, the site of the worst nuclear disaster in history. One Mark Resnicoff commented on it, and it turns out he also did a tour of the plant and surrounding towns and villages, in May 2006. He has a site up, www.chernobylee.com, which has an excellent collection of articles, videos, interviews, photos and information about the area, the disaster, and the effects thereof. If you found yesterday’s photo-series interesting at all, then this site is a must.

You can check out his tour experience here, its an interesting photo journal over a few days, with accompanying photos that really give one a great “feel” for the area.
